Acceptable Use Policy
1Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs your access to and use of the software, website, applications, downloadable software, Expert Advisors ("EAs"), plugins, indicators, APIs and related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Trading Execution Pte Ltd ("Trading Execution", "we", "our", or "us").
This Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with this Policy.
Failure to comply with this Policy may result in the suspension or termination of your Account, Subscription or access to the Services, in addition to any other remedies available under applicable law.
2Purpose
This Policy is intended to promote the secure, lawful and responsible use of the Services while protecting Trading Execution, our users and our intellectual property.
3Lawful Use
You must use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
You must not use the Services in any manner that:
- violates any applicable law or regulation;
- infringes the rights of another person or entity;
- compromises the security or integrity of the Services;
- interferes with the normal operation of the Services; or
- exposes Trading Execution or other users to legal, operational or security risks.
4Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials.
You must not:
- share your Account with another person;
- allow another person to access your Subscription using your credentials;
- sell, transfer or assign your Account without our prior written consent;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user's Account.
You must promptly notify Trading Execution if you suspect that your Account has been compromised.
5Software and Expert Advisor Licence
The Software and any Expert Advisors are licensed to you for use in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
You must not:
- share software activation credentials or licence information;
- copy or redistribute the Software or Expert Advisors;
- upload the Software or Expert Advisors to file-sharing platforms;
- sell, rent, lease or sublicense the Software or Expert Advisors;
- permit another person to use your Software licence except where expressly permitted under your Subscription.
6Reverse Engineering and Tampering
Except where prohibited by applicable law, you must not:
- reverse engineer;
- decompile;
- disassemble;
- modify;
- patch;
- alter;
- decrypt; or
- create derivative works from,
any part of the Services, Software or Expert Advisors.
You must not attempt to:
- bypass licence verification;
- remove activation requirements;
- disable security mechanisms;
- interfere with software integrity checks;
- manipulate software communications with Trading Execution's systems.
7Automation and Unauthorised Access
Unless expressly authorised in writing by Trading Execution, you must not:
- scrape or harvest data from the Services;
- use bots or automated tools to access protected areas of the Services;
- overload or interfere with our systems;
- attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits or security controls;
- perform penetration testing or security testing without prior written approval.
Reasonable use of accessibility technologies or standard browser functionality is not prohibited.
8Intellectual Property
You must not:
- remove copyright notices or proprietary markings;
- reproduce our documentation for commercial purposes;
- reproduce proprietary algorithms, software architecture or trading logic;
- claim ownership of any intellectual property belonging to Trading Execution;
- use our intellectual property to develop or assist in developing a competing product.
9Fair Use
You must use the Services responsibly and in a manner that does not interfere with other users or the operation of the Services.
Examples of prohibited conduct include:
- intentionally exploiting software bugs;
- attempting to disrupt the Services;
- generating excessive system requests;
- repeatedly abusing customer support channels;
- attempting to interfere with software updates or licence management systems.
Where possible, users are encouraged to report software vulnerabilities responsibly to Trading Execution.
10Third-Party Platforms
Where the Services integrate with MetaTrader 5, brokers or other third-party platforms, you must comply with the applicable terms and conditions of those providers.
Trading Execution is not responsible for your misuse of any third-party platform or service.
11Monitoring and Enforcement
To protect the Services, Trading Execution may investigate suspected violations of this Policy.
Where permitted by law, Trading Execution may:
- issue warnings;
- suspend or terminate Accounts;
- suspend or revoke Software licences;
- disable access to specific features;
- remove access to the Services;
- report suspected unlawful conduct to the relevant authorities.
Trading Execution may take any other reasonable action necessary to protect its users, Services, software or intellectual property.
12Reporting Misuse
If you become aware of misuse of the Services or a suspected breach of this Policy, you are encouraged to notify Trading Execution using the contact details below.
13Changes to this Policy
Trading Execution may amend this Policy from time to time.
The latest version will be published through the Services or on our website.
Your continued use of the Services after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
